Auditions
Whether you’re hoping for a starring role or might fancy the tiniest of parts, you’ll be welcome at one of our auditions. No experience is necessary, and we rarely require any preparation. Auditions are open to those 16 and over unless stated.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals usually take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings for the six weeks before a performance (often longer for panto); you won’t necessarily need to attend all of them. Usually, a director can work around days when you might not be available. You’ll get all of the information for a specific show at the audition.

Main Characters:
Charles Condomine: A novelist seeking inspiration who enlists Madame Arcati to hold a séance.
Ruth Condomine: Charles’s second wife, who is a bit jealous of his relationship with his first wife.
Elvira: Charles’s deceased first wife, who is brought back as a ghost by Madame Arcati’s seance and causes trouble for the couple.
Madame Arcati: An eccentric spiritualist and medium who holds the séance that brings Elvira back.
Supporting Characters:
Dr. Bradman: A friend of the Condomines who attends the séance.
Mrs. Bradman: Dr. Bradman’s wife, who is more intrigued by the séance than her husband.
Edith: The Condomines’ maid, who is nervous and inexperienced but possesses latent psychic abilities that are crucial to the plot.
